Saffire grew up moving almost every year due to her stepfather’s career. Whether it be towns away or states away, they were consistently traveling. In 2015, she moved back to Wyoming from Oklahoma to live with her father. From there, Saffire earned her associate’s degree in literature as well as her CNA certification from Northwest College. She also graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Human Psychology with a focus on better understanding her siblings’ disabilities. Today, Saffire is continuing her education with Penn Foster in the Veterinary Technician AVMA-CVTEA program.
In 2022, Saffire joined the Cody Veterinary Hospital team, bringing enthusiasm, initiative, and a strong work ethic to everything she does. Her eagerness to learn and love for animals of all shapes and sizes has made her a great addition to our team.
Alongside her education and work with our team, Saffire is also a business owner making homemade soaps and car freshies.
Saffire has a beautiful little girl, Remington. She has also rescued, fostered, and/or adopted many different species of animals, including horses, dogs, snakes, beardies, cats, ferrets, and parakeets. In her free time, Saffire can normally be found on a horse practicing one of her favorite trick-riding stunts, the suicide drag. When she’s back in Oklahoma for the occasional summer weekend helping out on her grandfather’s ranch, she also barrel races in local rodeos.
