Stephanie White, DVM

Dr. Stephanie White grew up a horse crazy, livestock loving, animal obsessed kid in Douglas, WY. She was very active in 4-H and FFA, and started her path in veterinary medicine at Smylie Animal Clinic throughout high school and her undergraduate education.

Dr. Stephanie began her college education at the University of Wyoming where she majored in Animal Science/Pre-Vet with a minor in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management. While there, she competed on the meat judging team and the first ever horse judging team with great success. Dr. Stephanie graduated from Washington State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Following graduation, Dr. Stephanie took her first job at Cody Veterinary Hospital and has stayed ever since! In 2019, Dr. Stephanie and her husband, Rives, purchased Cody Veterinary Hospital from Dr. Scott Moore and his wife, Shelly.

Her passion for veterinary medicine and love for animals of all shapes and sizes has made Dr. Stephanie a perfect fit to carry on the high quality of care Cody Veterinary Hospital is known for. She has a special interest in equine medicine- particularly reproduction, lameness, and helping equine athletes feel and perform their best! She also enjoys small animal internal medicine and dentistry.

In her free time Dr. Stephanie enjoys riding, training, and showing horses. If there is any time leftover, you may find her out judging horse shows, trail running, hiking, camping, baking, and spending time with her fellow horse enthusiast husband, Rives.
